How do I start the process....

 

AAS Degree

The College of Lake County along with the Illinois State Board of Higher Education has approved our five year inside wireman program for 53 semester hours of college credit toward completion of an Associates of Applied Science Degree.

Process by which you complete this program

Step 1.  Print our the attached degree information sheet.  Our contact person for this degree program is listed on the bottom of this sheet.

Step 2.  Let Dee in the JATC office know you are intending to attend CLC for this program.  Once she gets your CLC student number a letter will be sent to CLC with your completion information.

Step 3.  Once you have completed the five additional classes at CLC and graduate from our inside wireman program, you will receive your Associates Of Applied Science degree from the College.

 

If you are not a resident of Lake County but are a member in good standing with IBEW Local #150, the College of Lake County has a Business Eduational Service Agreement which will allow you to pay the in-district tuition rate.  You must let our office know that you need this form completed and sent in to the CLC.
